Q is for...
Jun 26, 2024Q was a hard one!
But I really love quiche! I made quiche for the first time by myself when I moved to Denver. Growing up, my mom would make it from time to time - usually for events. I made it once with a traditional crust and once with sliced potatoes as the crust. Both were delicious. One of the things I love about quiche is that you can literally put anything you want in it. You don't really need a recipe. Sure, you should have enough eggs and milk for the amount of meat and vegetables. The more often you make this though, the easier it is to eyeball how much milk you need.
This used to be a go-to for me on weekends but nowadays, it's an egg scramble of sorts using whatever is in the fridge. Now that I am gluten-free and dairy-free though, I do miss eating quiche when I am out for brunch.
