It always amazes me how many flavors of jam exist! I used to love strawberry but now I tend to buy blackberry or blueberry. Sometimes I will take a chance and try something new but I always wind up going back to blueberry.
In the last couple of years, my breakfast of choice - other than pancakes, has been toasted waffles with cream cheese and blueberry jam. It just hits the spot. Some carbs, a little bit of protein, and fruit. Balanced, right?!
I also like putting jam on freshly baked muffins. I can taste them in my mouth now...great...now I have to go make some muffins. Will you excuse me? :)
