I'M RUTH
Being the only Deaf person in my immediate family and my circle of friends for most of my life, fueled the feelings of isolation and the "you're not good enough" mantra through my head.
During college, I met others who were Deaf and hard of hearing and it was then that I realized I was meant to be more than what others perceived me to be.
My desire is to be the role model I never had. I want to encourage all of you to be the best baker you can be. Baking helped me find my inner joy and I pray that you find yours as well.
